Effect Confirmed, Patient Dead

چکیده
This article is a commentary on Hoffman 8 Zhao’s “A Primer for Conducting Experiments in Human-robot Interaction.” I argue that too-narrow view of HRI methodology fails to address the dynamic systems properties interaction. Furthermore, focus addressing so-called “replicability crisis” makes field studies next impossible, inhibits interdisciplinarity and methodological pluralism, draws our attention resources away from fact contexts, people, cultures, expectations, interaction itself may influence how social signals are interpreted. Therefore, spite its great benefits, “Primer” not be taken as an instruction “how carry out research HRI” general.
